1956 Worked as a commercial artist in publishing and advertising doing paste-ups, layouts, illustrations, etc. (through 1966)

1959 Moved from Chicago, Illinois to New York, New York
1962 Lived and painted in Spain
1966 With money saved from working as a commercial artist and illustrator, began to paint full time
1967 Showed work to Allan Stone, New York; began by producing paintings for his first solo exhibition
1968 First solo exhibition at the Allan Stone Gallery, New York, New York and the Hudson River Museum, Yonkers, New York
1993 First solo exhibition with Marlborough Gallery, New York Cityscapes at FIAC, Grand Palais, Paris, France
